DeVENDO 1981 MUSIC MOVIES .COM

In 1981 I went to the movies to watch a film I didn’t know anything about accept there would be monsters and sword swashbuckling, the film was CLASH OF THE TITANS  it did  pretty well for movie back then LAURENECE OLIVER  starred as ZEUS and HARRY HAMLIN as his son PERSEUS . As with what seem s to a trend these days where loads of remakes seem up for grabs CLASH OF THE TITANS is about to be remade starring SAM WORTHINGTON (starred recently opposite Christian bale in TERMINATOR SALVATION as MARCUS) as PERSEUS .The original was directed by DESMOND DAVIS this update will be directed by LOUIS LETERIER director of last years THE INCREDIBLE HULK and THE TRANSPORTER movies .The movie will also star LIAM NEESON as ZEUS and GEMMA ARTETON as well as RALPH FIENNES. In the original Perseus has to rescue Andromeda, before she has to marry a monster. Zeus has set up a few tests for Perseus on the way, like capturing Pegasus, defeating Medusa, and finding a way to kill the dreaded Kraken. I’m sure this latest version will be somewhat different but the plot for the most the same rescue the damsel in distress and kill the beast.
