I always feel slightly annoyed when a great talent comes along here in the UK and everyone raves about how long they are going to be around then after the first initial album has past then up pops the second one with equally good material but for some reason doesn’t do a good ,yes there could be factors surrounding this like the musical styles have change so that one set of music is now not the flavour of the month. DON-E is one such artist that has suffered from this ,especially here in the uk where fresh talent has to keep up with the so called R&B/soul trend of he day (this most likely happens all over) or else there out. Its sad that we don’t just like a song because its good song and not because it fit’s a trend .I believe CRAIG DAVID was a victim of this in reverse he tried something new it didn’t fit the so called style of the day so cast aside .There will always be trends and some would say this is a good thing ,i guess there will always be acts that are so good you wonder why everyone else has not caught on . I first heard this man in 1995 on is CHANGING SEASONS album which was outstanding by the way, since then he has been on a Rolla coaster ride yes the follow up album to catch on yet it was littered with little gems .Well after a spell away this multi talented genius is back with what I would say say is his best to date and DJ,S out there should be blasting this album all over there radios .This album has a gold star on every track KOOL is a killer groove of a song demonstrating this man in all his glory then there is a lovely cover of BOB MARLEY,S WAITING IN VAIN one of my favourite songs of his, other brilliant songs include YOU AND I ,STAY A WHILE ,and LIKE I LIKE IT featuring KEL LE ROC. This album is littered with many great song s and if you know what’s good for you check out DON-E .He shows that when one wants to be inspired they can be ,and take it to great heights . The new alum is entitled NATURAL out on DOME RECORDS here in the UK if you think you like soul then this should be up your street but if you like good music this is most definitely up you street.                      By CW
