is lead to Ed Norton going off on holiday to Africa which everyone claimed was already in their plans yet the lack of promotion I felt hurt the movie and a bit more might have been the difference it doing good and doing great at the box office. ED NORTON then confirmed he heard nothing from MARVEL regarding a second instalment. Recently GALE ANNE HURD went on record to say Norton would be back yet what are MARVEL sayings OPPS. Then the bombshell! they drop TERRANCE HOWARD for DON CHEADLE both actors I have a deep admiration for and would do the role justice, yet how did Howard find out via telephone call a conversation in a meeting NO! The news was a big shock to him as it was to fans yet the reason why? Has not been answered, and probably will never be answered. Mean while the IRON MAN II wheels are starting to crank up. Recently actor Samuel l Jackson confirmed he would be in the movie and would play much bigger role .Good news as we all know this should help leading up to the avenger’s movie. As to the villain Kang the Conqueror, Crimson Dynamo OR the Tinkerer/Toymaker YET FOR ME IT HAS TO BE THE MANDARIN. All in all things seem positive and exciting looking ahead if the appetite from fans remain and it will then there are some great things to look forward to.

I must say I thought MARVEL got it so right this year with IRON MAN and my personal favourite THE INCREDIBLE HULK movies this has lift their status and left people hungry for more with THOR ,CAPTAIN AMERICA and THE AVENGERS ,in the pipeline it all looks good for them going forward .Yet there way of dealing with cast and directors alike is starting already to pick away at the status they have built up and could possibly lead to them not attracting actors and actress for future projects should this continue .When iron man finished they seemed to hint at not re hiring JON FAVREAU as the director for the second instalment this he confirmed when he said he had not heard from them as to the sequel. Then oops they called him after a long delay WHY? Even before the hulk finished there was rumours as to a fall out with marvel over the editing of the movie .Th

I Favreau said only "Fantastic Four" has really flirted with this type of story but those two films were more playful in tone. "Iron Man 2" will show Stark grinding the gears in his life as fame drags him down to earth. That's exciting for Favreau, who said he saw a dangerous sameness in the big-screen tales of Peter Parker, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent. "Usually the hero is forced to live an even more bifurcated existence between the esteemed persona of the superhero version of himself and the humble or disguised existences of his secret-identity self," Favreau said. "Those twin stories deviate more and more as the hero becomes more established. The hero starts to leave behind the secret identity. All of these franchises struggle to find their different angle on all of that as they move forward but the thing is it's all fairly limited and limiting. There are only so many stories there. n an recent interview with the LOS ANGELES TIMES JON FAVERAU had this to say about the soon to be released IRON MAN II."It allowed us to draw upon our experiences and certainly Robert's experiences," the filmmaker said. "Robert had strong points of view on these things. He was propelled quite publicly to a much more successful station and we were able to draw upon that. We were able to comment on the phenomena of celebrity as we know it today."

DON CHEADLE ON SET
Regarding the recent news as to Terrence Howard being dropped for iron man ii because the director Jon favereau was not happy with the way Howard portrayed his character In the movie or that Howard is soft spoken, correct me here but Don cheadle is no deep tone vioced person either and dam! Did anyone notice? Did they care? I didn’t and most people who have, are only doing so because it has been pointed out. This didn’t stop the movie from being a blockbuster. Secondly MARVEL made the deal it was rather foolish of them to have paid someone so much to get them on board then want to re-negotiate, now that the movie was a big hit.(THEY MUST HAVE THOUGHT IT WASNT GOING TO BE SUCH A BIG DEAL THEN)This should have been taken into account before getting there man on board. I would love to hear Mr Favreau comments on this. A s far as this dude is concerned MONEY played a big part alright.

Well the news keeps getting better it seems that it noweven sam jackson has had the the boot recentley he was quoted as saying
"There was a huge kind of negotiation that broke down. I don't know. Maybe I won't be Nick Fury. Maybe somebody else will be Nick Fury or maybe Nick Fury won't be in it. There seems to be an economic crisis in the Marvel Comics world so [they're saying to me], 'We're not making that deal.'"
