JESSE JACKON is back his music is more relevant today than it was even back in the day .The album VERBAL PENETRATION VOL I & II challenges the norm in more ways than one musically it does not swing along the many pop rnb ,lyrically it is more challenging than the norm questioning rightly the plight of BLACK PEOPLE today in the song SLAVE TO OR FREEDOM a killer song if ever there was. Other songs that are soworth a funky mention  INCLUDE  UAND R WE R US again here JESSE JOHNSON puts together a groove/melody  and a lyric that should allow you to rock with beat whilst thinking whilst we enjoy it, soooooo goood , Its obvious that whilst he’s been away ,he managed to absorb much and musically this funky dude is letting the world have it. PROPOGANDA another killer song that funky groove hits you strong here ,allowing these feet to tap and to think about why we do what we do ,then challenge ourselves to change. WE R STRONG is another positive vibe I like. DON’T THROW YOURSELF AWAY is class soul music if ever their was .The beat kicks up in the song 100 WATTS OF FUNKY oh oh oh this brother is rocking his socks off. A s back in when song like CRAZY and LOVE STRUCK where his signature sound he also new how to rock with best and being a guitarist this side is prominent in the sound still, and I still enjoyed this funky dudes sound It very clear JESSE JOHNSON has grown but he refuses to chase the crowd but instead do his own thing and this is so good to hear.The entire album is positive thought provoking and above all you still get to rock your socks off here. There are some 29 tracks on this set you cant go wrong not buying this better still downloading it ( the legal way of course )and enjoying the fact that in a sad way this music is more relevant to the plight of the Blackman AND WOMEN IN HOW WE TREAT EACH OTHER. And the lyrical the content is more relevant than 95

% of the sex starved, slaved up RNB that is being prostituted and played and showed that is suppose to represent mankind in general as well as any ethnic person. Sad that this album  may go unnoticed but I for one can say if you are looking for something fresh look no further than JESSE JACKSON and his VERBAL PENETRATION VOL I and II.lets go back to beeing COOL again .Lets see artist smile on the cover of there latest release .Sadly with any freedom there is always a great potential for abuse as when under restraint, ABUSE indeed we have become a nation NO a world of ABUSERS we abuse  ourselves or food or water or children,wifes,daughters,sons,mothers,fathers,friends,animals and  the enviroment then we have the nerve to say ITS COMPLICATED claiming. It somone else fault  DAM! We even abuse God when we want to kill.Maybe its not COMPLICATED(AS IN THE SITUATION) and its just that we have complicated it, by wanting too much and giving back too little.Is their nothing that we wont abuse.JESSE JOHNSON new album refflects in part the disatisfaction with this . Why did so many activist fight for freedom ? it wasnt for this,yet as said above look where we are .Like a drug addict who keeps telling himself hes fine hes ok he can kick the habbit if he wants we have become slaves to ourselves TO OR FREEDOMRightly said JESSE. Yet still we can groove so lets do it in a more positive light . There is nothing but a good dose of solid soul and funk music to make you feel good and if you need to feel good then you really need some verbal penetration. The album is available everywhere
