Meryl Streep is an actress of shear quality in my book even if she doesn’t know it any part she turns her hands to she seems to slip into so easily and you’re not watching her but the character she is playing on screen for me it’s not Meryl streep playing character it’s just the character if you get what I mean. It’s been this way for me ever since I saw her in the flick OUT OF AFRICA many years ago, or in the olden days as my kids would put it hmmmm (I’m not even in my mid 40,s YET!) still when I heard about this new move she was to star in I waited to get a glimpse of the trailer and it didn’t disappoint. Julia Child (Meryl Streep) and Julie Powell (Amy Adams) are featured in writer-director Nora Ephron's adaptation of two bestselling memoirs: Powell's Julie & Julia and My Life in France, by Julia Child with Alex Prud'homme. Based on two true stories, Julie & Julia intertwines the lives of two women who, though separated by time and space, are both at loose ends...until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible. This looks like a must see movie funny uplifting and happy all-round my friends would say this is a chick flick but I don’t care this I will watch and judging by the trailer I will enjoy.
