..Kyra Simone is a great British talent with a style and groove all of her own one only has to listen to her new album THE SCENT to understand this . There are some gems to be found on this set first up LETS JUST BE FRIENDS has an interesting melody and groove to it, as well as subject matter. Then there is my favourite song FIX YA HAIR whoa this song blows you away ,with a very positive vibe and message I love the bass in this song .The entire sets follows an medium groove with little nuggets there in such as ENCORE & MOMENTS .With kyra demonstrating her vocal ability and song writing ,this is truly good stuff and hope after hearing this you ill agree.Kyra grew up with a large family network of her grandparents, father, mother, brothers and sister. Her talents were discovered when her father David noticed her singing before she could even talk and realised her love for music when she would always want to sing in front of an audience and family gatherings. Kyra got her first recording done at the tender age of six, where she sung lead with her mother, Selma, and her brother, Karlos singing backing vocals. ‘Wow when I listen to that I can't believe I was singing that high, it's crazy, I was so young I barely remember it but I have the tape to prove it '. Kyra recalls.Kyra continues to work with various artists, and producers, such as Supafly who had a hit Lets get down (Island Records) and Maria Lawson (Sony BMG Artist), Supa Soul Brutha Del, Jason Jermaine, Andrae Bentley and other distinguished UK artist’s. Kyra also continues to get support from UK soul, BBC Three DJ-Lee Drummond, UKMusic.com, Black Heroes In the hall of fame – Flip Fraser, Struggs – A Salute to the Wailers, Madison Media, Rewind Magazine and others.

In the midst off all the happenings Kyra was spotted by TBRL Music Label manager, Ainslee Connage, who saw a gifting in her that he felt, would blossom into a great singer/songwriter and that’s when Kyra was offered her record deal with TBRL Music and started writing her own songs for TBRL Publishing.

Kyra after much deliberation decided that working with TBRL Music was not working out and decided to take that step out into the unknown with a few key characters that will help to shape her future and take her to the next level of her musical journey.
