Salma Hayek has always been the type of actress everyone enjoys to see on the big the screen for obvious reasons, need I go on. Yet for me there is much more here than meets the eye apart from the beauty side of things of which she has in abundance there is talent, although at times depending on the role we or the media don’t see. She has never just played being the hype up sexual Mexican women we all at want her to be but opted to do various roles (see the movie FRIDA) that move away from that, about the FRIDA movie she said

 When you truly believe in something then you are going to put up your best fight. It's ok that doors were slammed in my face, I am grateful to that today. If it had come to me easily I wouldn't have learned all the things I have done or grown like I have - I know how to tell a story, I know how to put a movie together, I know where to find the money.

This is to be applauded (this is no joke! And no I aunt gay) in order for an actor or actress to get better and therefore be more entertaining to us small minded individuals at times they need to take a similar route. This said Selma has always looked comfortable showing us her very feminine side Salma Hayek was born 2^{nd November 1966. After} moving to Texas to live with her aunt ,she dropped out of university to pursue an acting career, At 23 years of age she landed her first role which would make an instant star ( in the movie El Callejón de los Milagros)but would be the move to LOS ANGELES in 1991 to study acting despite her limited English and als

o suffering dyslexia she managed to overcome all of that and land the role in DESPERADO a role which would captured the hearts of all those who saw her. She followed that up with her role in DUST TIL DAWN as a lustful VAMPIRE and this role immortalized her and many male hearts. Since then she has steadily built up a large catalogue of films that we have enjoyed seeing her in. Recently she has turned producer on the hit show UGLEY BETTY, also appearing in the hit show. We can be sure that this lady has plenty more to come even though recently becoming a mother a role of which she will find very challenging, perhaps even more than acting.
