For all those critics who have slammed TYLER PERRY movies it should become painfully clear to them that he appears that to speak a language that clearly many of us get!! he tells a story in a way that many appear to also GET! So why the long faces well their maybe some truth in the matter that he doesn’t appear to tell it in a way they would. Yet tell a story he can and he does it by not just focusing on a particular mood.He can seemingly take you in one direction then in another course to the way the film is going in and then back again and in doing so not lose you, in doing so he enhances your experience on the subject and life itself .How many times has your day been going in one way then things suddenly happen that take it in another. That’s LIFE and Tyler Perry through his own experiences has managed to thrill us, make us laugh (a lot!!!!) and make us question or very own existence. Isn’t that what all good story tellers are supposed to want to achieve. So i want to see his movies on the big screen in the UK please. Actor Director and WriterTyler Perry is primarily a professional actor, director and writer in the United States of America. He has also served under all of these roles: actor, director, screen and playwright, producer, author and even a songwriter. Perry was born with the name Emmitt Perry, Junior on September 14, 1969. Tyler Perry has written and produced numerous stage plays during his career. Some of these started as early as the 1990s and continued into the early 2000s. Perry is primarily known for creating and serving performances in drag, by the character of Mabel or "Madea" Simmons. Perry has also had the privilege to create a lot of feature films in the United States, including Diary Of A Mad Black Woman which premiered in 2005 and featured Madea. It wasn't until 2011 that Perry was named the highest paid man in entertainment by Forbes. Between the years of 2010 and 2011, Tyler Perry was able to accomplish a salary of $130 million.
Tyler Perry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. His original name was Emmitt Perry, Junior. Perry had three siblings that lived beside him. His mother's name was Willie Maxine Perry, and his father was Emmett Perry, Senior. His fathers day job was spent being a carpenter. Perry was once quoted saying to the camera that his dad's "answer to everything was to beat it out of you". When Perry was just a child, he told reporters that he once tried to kill himself in order to escape from his fathers brutal beatings. A big difference from his father, Perry's mother took him to church regularly, he said that he felt contentment when he was in the presence of God. When Perry was just 16 years old, he officially changed his name away from Emmitt to Tyler, so that he could further distance himself from his father. Their relationship was on ice for as long as Perry could remember.
Perry recounted on his childhood deeply after seeing the movie Precious. It became apparent that he had lived a very rough childhood. He came out and told the public for the first time that he was molested by a friend's mother at the age of just 10 years old and that there had been numerous molestations previous to this as well. He also found out that his father had molested one of his friends.
Even though Perry was unable to complete high school, he was able to achieve a GED. During his early 20s, he was watching Oprah Winfrey and he heard about somebody discussing how calming and relaxing writing can be for the body. He heard how writing could allow the author to work out some internal problems by putting it down on paper. The comment that he witnessed on the Oprah Winfrey show, later inspired him to pursue a career in writing. He first began producing letters, which were addressed to himself. He later used these letters in his first musical, known as, I Know I've Changed.
Tyler Perry has always been a very versatile person. Having noticeable achievements as an actor, director and a writer, it's difficult to talk about anywhere that Tyler Perry has fallen short. He has spent countless hours on stage, many hours producing film, lots of time on television, and even has notable achievements for books and novels. Tyler has also had to live up to a lot of harsh criticism. Since Tyler has primarily focused on racial types of work, he has had a lot of people portray him as somebody who exploits the negative aspects in racial stereotypes. For instance, Spike Lee praised his work in 2006, but later on in 2009, when being interviewed by Ed Gordon, Spike Lee was quoted saying "Each artist should be allowed to pursue their artistic endeavors but I still think there is a lot of stuff out today that is "Coonery" and buffoonery. I know it's making a lot of money and breaking records, but we can do better… I see these two ads for these two shows and I am scratching my head… We've got a black president and we are going back to Manton Moreland and Sleep n' Eat? Still, Tyler continues to prove the critics wrong and break records in the entertainment industry. >>>Tyler perry website <<<
