The story of WONDER WOMEN  is one probably worth telling yet ,bringing it to the big screen has been a bit of a rocky road .JOSS WHELDON was the man charged with bringing this to the masses yet it seems that there has been a falling out of sorts and know he is off the case. Not so long ago we had BEYONCE of all people say she would be up for the role and I thought WHOA! That would be a good twist to the plot. I have since heard the story may be set in World War II. So having a black actress in the role may prove to be  too much for some in some quarters yet if they want to update the character yet keep her well routed in the past this may be the route to follow. Joel silver of SPEED RACER /BATMAN movies is said to be pulling the strings here, and judging by his taste for all things colourful .We could end up with another multi coloured swap shop of a movie. It also rumoured The Wachowski Bros may also helm this new movie and seeing how bad SPEED RACER did it seems a bad idea. Yet I have to admit to liking SPEED RACER so I don’t entirely think it’s all bad, but I do think the fans would like a darker movie with a slight adult content but would also appeal to the kids of today, this I’m not sure of I don’t want a sexed up movie but a sort of coming of age hero, rising to a challenges of the then world and winning in a way  unknown to any man.

 There is still no real news here about who will be the leading  lady for the role , there have been many that have been linked yet nothing new ,actress JESSICA BIEL had been said to  have been offered the part yet turned it down .
